Robert K. Hunt, MD, DDS grew up in Atlanta, he has both a DDS degree and an MD degree. He received the former from the Baylor College of Dentistry, (1985) and the latter from the University of Alabama (1994).
A Georgia Tech graduate who went through a full scope 4 year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia, a 1 year General Surgery internship in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1985 & Cosmetic Surgery since 1995. He is an American Board of Cosmetic surgery examiner. He is on staff at St. Josephs Hospital of Atlanta & Emory Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Hunt is also the Chief Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Team.
